Since the most recent Five - Year Plan expired in 2007, the Executive of the Association started to work on the new Five - Year Plan for a period of 2008-2009 to 2012-2013 to identify what the current needs of the Association are in regards to operations, programs and capital. Because of the new Agreements with the Government of Quebec in 2002 and the Government of Canada in 2008 it was necessary for the Cree Trappers’ Association to maintain a current Five Year Plan. This new Five Year Plan of the Association will be used in the annual budget submissions to the Cree Regional Authority in explain the annual funding requirements of the Association from the two Agreements.
