1. The Association shall be known as the Cree Trapper's Association "Association des Trappeurs Cris" - "Eeyouch Kantoohoodo Emmahmoueech".

2.Office
The head office and principal place of business shall be in Mistissini.

3. Corporate Seal
The seal, which appears in the margin, is the official seal of the association.

4. Members
The members of the Association shall be Cree beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement engaged in trapping or related activities, or who were engaged in such activites and have since retired, and who have been accepted for admission as members of the association.

There shall be two(2) classes of members:

a) Youth shall be less than fourteen(14) years of age and have paid in full the annual membership fee for the year in course.
b) Adult members shall be fifteen (15) years or older and have paid in full the annual membership fee for the year in course.

If a Cree community has appointed a trappers' committee, each member of the trappers' committee shall likewise be a member of the Association.

For the purpose of these by-laws, the following are the Cree communities:

* Whapmagoostui
* Chisasibi
* Weminindji
* Eastmain
* Waskaganish
* Nemaska
* Mistissini
* Waswanipi
* Ouje-Bougoumou

5. Rights of Members
Every member shall have the right to vote at general meetings on all matters affecting the Association. He shall have the right to submit his ideas and his problems to the Association and the Association shall consider such ideas and problems.

Every member shall have the right to benefit from the programs and operations and the Association.

Every member may withdraw from the Association at any time by giving a written resignation to the Board of Directors of the Association.

6. Annual General Meeting of Assembly
The annual general meting of the members of the Association shall be held at any place in Canada and in such date in each year and at such time as may be fixed from time to time by resolution of the Board of Directors. To appoint the auditor or auditors to recieve and consider the financial statements and the report of the auditor or auditors thereon and to consider, deal with and dispose of other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Any annual general meeting may also constitute a special general meeting to consider, deal with and dispose of any business to be considered.

The members of the annual general meeting shall elect the officers of the Association.

7. Special Meetings
Special general meetings of the members may be called at any time by the order of the Chairman of the Board of Directors or by the order of the Board of Directors of the Association.

Special general meeting of the members shall be held at any place in Canada as may be fixed from time to time by the Chairman of the Board of Directors or by resolution of the Board of Directors, as the case may be.
