There was one staff training session held in 2010-2011.

The Local Fur Officers, Office Staff, and Executive attended a two day workshop in March 2011 at Chibougamau.One day was spent at the CEGEP de St. Felicien a Chibougamau at which the basic functionalities of Microsoft Outlook were taught to the participants.

The following day representatives of Hydro Quebec gave an introduction to the CD Rom “The La Grande Hydro Electric Complex and Social, Economic, and Land Use Changes in Eeyou Istchee” after which a review of the local fur officer’s job description and operations manual was presented. The Employees Handbook which had been presented in March 2010 was circulated to new employees. The Cree Geoportal functionalities were
also reviewed with the staff.
